Dream Cast Project Global Impact

Supporting future generations believe in the possible.

In 2023, we began partnering with organizations and small businesses worldwide to bring Dream Cast Journals into classrooms and after-school programs. From coast to coast in America and across the pond to the UK. They have even traveled to the southern tip of South Africa and all the way to Australia.

Our journals are empowering young minds to think, dream, and grow. Below are some of the organizations and small businesses we have partnered with or sponsored worldwide.

Sponsorship to make a difference

In partnership with Create Now, youth from Farmdale Elementary received over 200 interactive Dream Cast Project journals in Q1 2023.

The journals were used in the classroom where students could work individually or follow along with the group. Create Now is a California-based 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1996 that helps youth in need find their voices through arts mentoring and education.

Each year, Create Now brings thousands of "forgotten children" who have fallen through the cracks to concerts, plays and other cultural events at premiere venues in the region. They have reached 37,000 of the most troubled youth in Southern California during the last 20 years.

KidsNCulture, founded in 2008, is an academic enrichment program working with students in the New York area.

KidsNCulture uses a combination of after-school curriculum and international travel to teach students about our “common humanity” and to push them to think more critically about the larger world around them.

To date Dream Cast Project has donated Kids’ Journals for use in their school programs. We’re also excited to share that our Becoming You Journal for Women is currently being used in their latest travel program to South Africa.

Happier and more Positive KIDS through Journaling!

Journaling reduces levels of stress, anxiety and leads to happier and more resilient kids.

The Dream Cast Kids Journal teaches kids to be kind and have gratitude, which has a positive influence on a range of academic, health, and social outcomes for kids.

Journaling is associated with greater emotional intelligence.

Helps track thoughts and feelings over time. Journaling helps kids explore and identify their emotions.

Kids who journal are better able to express and process fear and anxiety. Children can more easily solve problems in the future.

Writing and drawing helps children develop communication skills.

Embracing Our Unity: The Power of the "Global Majority"

Jul 16, 2023 Ricardo Collison

Ever come across the term "Global Majority?" Many of us have likely encountered phrases such as "people of color," "mixed race," or even "coloured," the latter referring to an ethnic minority in South Africa encompassing individuals of mixed race or nationality. As part of this diverse group, I proudly acknowledge my heritage as a fusion of white, black, and Indian genes.
